We created this product to give quilters, appliqué artists and sewers a beautiful, fine and workable silk, which until now has been unavailable. We strive to give you the finest quality silk, beautiful colors and great customer service. As you view the electronic color chart please understand that although we have done the best photography of each color we can, colors will be slightly different based on screen and color resolution of personal computers.
Our silk has been washed, ironed and is ready to use. In making samples, all types of thread were used, such as Mettler, Sulky, Egyptian Cotton, and Coats and Clark, all with great results. Also, each sample was put through tests to see how the silk would react. The samples were made with different types of fusible web, fabric paint, glitter glue and subjected to heavy quilting, cutting and piecing (not only strips but small squares) with strata’s made into nine patch blocks and borders. Every trial had great results with complete ease. Each sample was easy to sew and no special needles or machine settings were used. When ironing the iron was kept on the cotton setting and Best Press was used. This wonderful fabric does not slip or slide on the machine bed during sewing or piecing. It truly is a dream come true silk!!

- If you need to iron - simply use the cotton setting on your iron
- Steam works wonders to help set seams
